Many Blue Moons later …

Well the good news is nobody fell off the boat. And the even better news is nobody jumped off the boat. Aside from an injured frontman, a drummer who can’t stop eating snacks, and a lack of backup E strings, El Grande is doing alright! What doesn’t kill us will only make us stronger right?

We’re smack in the middle of our summer of ska, and showing no signs of slowing down. The booze cruise was a blast – thank you to everyone who bought a ticket and came out to see us! It was pretty damn sweet to watch the sunset over Casco Bay while playing music for so many of our friends and family.

Alright enough reminiscing. We got work to do and shows to play. Wednesday (tomorrow), we’re heading up to Gardiner to take on Mike’s Water Street Grill. It’s a benefit show for Ridin’ Steel, and a new venue for us. Lookin’ forward to this!

Then, after a much needed bye week, we’ll be down in Dover, NH, at Fury’s Publick House for another show with Riki Rocksteady and the Arraignments.

Oh, and if you like to look at us, we added a few new pictures from Sunday to our Facebook page.
